Looking ahead
It’s a funny time of year. I’ve produced all the work I’m going to before Christmas. Weaving takes such a long time, that if I’m not ready by September at the latest, I’m in big trouble! So now I’m thinking about Spring. It feels a little bizarre as Christmas lights are being switched on and I’m being offered Mulled wine outside Tesco. (Legitimately, it was part of Ilminster’s Victorian evening celebrations!)
I’m looking forward to an exhibition with potter and painter June Dobson and painter Rosemary Ward-Smith in Ilminster Arts Centre in March next year. So there will be a new Spring collection of woven textiles launched at that event. We will be having a preview evening, so do let me know if you’d like an invitation.
I’m also building a programme of workshops for the Spring, I’m just finalising the last venue and I’ll be ready to announce the dates on my workshops page.
So back to the present and here is a collection of work available in different galleries around the West Country. (See this page for links)
